This episode is the first recorded session of a long running group playing the "Waterdeep: Dragonheist" and "Waterdeep: Dungeon of the Mad Mage" modules. To quickly recap many sessions: The characters discovered the Gold smuggled by Lord Neverember, returned it to Laeral Silverhand and led the evil wizard Manshoon into the vault to face the dragon guarding the gold, getting a 15% finder's fee for their troubles. When the players finally entered the Dungeon of the Mad Mage, Manshoon returned to secretly infiltrate the group by recruiting one of the PC's to help him. At the perfect moment he stole all the player's gold and retreated to his tower.  Manshoon's player controlled plant turned on the rest of the group, but ultimately they defeated both him and Manshoon. After defeating Manshoon, they continued into the Dungeon, reaching the 3rd level when Marquis Cayde Silvertongue, the spy was kidknapped and had his arm dissolved in acid. They returned to their home Trollskull manor, with their new goblin servant Grom to decide what to do about Cayde's missing arm...
