In this episode, the guys start by talking about the released specs for the Xbox Series X. It's truly a powerhouse on paper and looks promising but where are the games??? Ninja's Twitter got hacked and amusingly, the hacker proposed a fight between Ninja and Tfue. The guys talk a bit about why this incident is proof that gaming and gaming culture has changed as a whole. Finally, they talk about the recent news that the Game Developers Conference (GDC) has been postponed due to developers backing out due to concerns over the Coronavirus. The epidemic is thought to also be causing issues with the sourcing of parts and production of the PS5. As always follow the links below to stay as up to date as possible and hit our Podchaser page to rate and review to help us get the word out about our fantastic show!!!
In this episode, the guys talk about the recently released season 2 for Call of Duty Modern Warefare. Just make sure you delete some games to make room for the massive size of the patch...... Ghost is back in the COD universe and to no one's surprise, a battle royale is on its way. Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2 is on its way. It's been a long and at this point very stale season 1 and everyone is ready for season 2 to freshen the game up. Sony is having a hard time settling on a price for the PS5 because the console is proving to be more expensive to make than expected. The coronavirus probably isn't helping.
In this episode, the guys talk about all the new stuff coming to Apex Legends in the season 4 release. A new weapon, a new legend and changes to the map as one would expect. Is Revenant the only legend slated to come out this season, listen to the guys break down why that might not be the case. The Super Bowl was this weekend but so was the Streamer Bowl. A lot of big names in streaming teamed up with football players to compete to win money for charity. YouTube secures the rights to exclusive streaming for COD League and Overwatch Leauge. This is just another thing falling into place for YouTube in their eventual domination of the streaming space. Finally, there is talk (yet again) of a Knights of the Old Republic remake that is rumored to be happening. This would be amazing but what would it actually consist of? The guys give you their opinions on it.
In this episode, the guys talk about ValkyRae's move to YouTube. This is the second big 100 Thieves content creator to make the jump, does this mean anything for the org as a whole??? Tfue is buying a warehouse to help teach streamers to stream better.... The guys talk about the merits and possibilities of this supposed plan, will it work?? The first big set of expansion content for Pokemon Sword and Sheild has been announced and it looks great, we're really hoping that it is as awesome in reality as it is on paper!! 2020 is already the year of delays. The guys talk about some anticipated games to look forward to in 2020 and they discuss the ones that have confirmed delays. The guys give their takes on what may be "causing" the delays... New year same show!!! In this episode, the guys talk about the various issues Ninja has been having recently. He didn't really end the year in the best way getting in a spat with Dakotaz. He has only continued it by getting into an epically cringe-worthy argument with Reverse2K. He's capped it off by suggesting that because of their following Tim and Ninja should exert pressure on their favorite NFL teams if the organizations aren't doing things they deem correct.... NickMercs has topped Ninja's stream room by creating a baller stream basement that is absolutely absurd (go check his YouTube video). Tarkov has popped off with a lot of streamers jumping on and their numbers are great. Will this affect Shroud and his viewership drop that we discussed in the last episode or is that truly due to the platform shift?
Happy Holidays Everyone!!!
In this episode, the guys talk about all the weird shit that streamers are doing recently. Ninja calls out NFL kickers for not being able to do a "simple" job and seems out of touch with how hard it actually is. Alinity allows her dog to get a real good sniff of her clam, most likely for the thirsty guys in her channel. Twitch finally fights back and signs Tim, Lupo, and Lirik to deals, presumably for big-time upfront money!!!! The biggest bit of it all is the fact that the Doc is in talks for a TV show!!!! Let that settle in, a streamer is getting a show......
The Google Stadia is out and it's sort of a dumpster fire..... They guys talk about some recent streamer moves, which won't stop anytime soon BTW. They give you the down and dirty on everything you need to know about the Google Stadia and why you SHOULDN'T buy it at this point. There's a new Star Wars game out and it's being received very well. On top of that, the new Pokemon Sword and Sheild games are also out and from what Matt says it's worth the buy!!!
COD is BACK!!!!! and so are we!!!!!! The guys have been away for a little over a month and a lot has happened. They touch briefly on the shakeup in the streaming world, but let's be honest the only thing that matters is COD!!!!! Modern Warfare is out and it is great, not perfect but still a fantastic game. The guys go over their opinions on this year's COD release and what they think it means for FPS games moving forward.
In episode #6 the guys talk about some recent streamer drama. Tfue uses a racial slur, and it's not the first time he's done that. Amouranth flashes he goods to the whole Twitch world and gets banned. This leads the guys to ask the question should big streamers get banned like the rest of us when they clearly break TOS? Apex Legends is releasing two physical versions of the game and the newest event game mode is pretty sweet. They talk about NBA 2K20's legitimate in game casino, is this really what we want to see in our games?
