Washington state is now number one in the nation for highest gas prices and number one in drug-overdoses, according to new figures from the Centers for Disease Control. KVI's John Carlson interviews State Sen. Mike Padden (R-Spokane Valley) who says Washington had the biggest increase in drug-overdose deaths of any state in the country. Padden points out WA is getting worse while most other top states are actually slowing or dropping in drug ODs, how WA's ranking of #1 in the nation is duly connected to the laws/policies of Gov. Inslee and WA Democrats (local and in the Legislature), Padden says "it was doomed to fail from the beginning".
