And it’s not just capital cities prices that are on the move.
According to the latest data from Corelogic, the price of housing in regional Australia has picked up pace, rising more than 2 percent in the three months to April - the fastest quarterly growth in almost two years.
And in parts of regional Western Australia the rate of growth is more than four times the national average.
