The move back to my hometown was something that I thought I would handle with ease. 

My new found inner strength through the stoic lens, combined with a heightened physical and mental capacity made me believe that the transition would be a breeze.

I was wrong.

This turbulence both mentally and emotionally that I am feeling is transient and will eventually pass.

So until it does, I be patient with myself, I be kind to myself and I remind myself that sometimes it's okay to slow down.
