Life is short, and waiting seems to make life even shorter. All we do in life is wait, even during the time of the apostles. The apostles trained under Jesus, they were able to do some things that Jesus was doing like healing the sick and casting out evil spirits. But just when some of them might think they are already ready, Jesus is then being crucified on the cross. From being ready to go, the apostles were asked to wait for the Holy Spirit. Surprisingly, they respond to this revelation by praying. Yes! They applied what they asked Jesus to teach them. So how should we put waiting in the right perspective?
