As the earthly seasons change, so does our spiritual liturgical season. With the colder and darker days, the Scripture passages chosen at Mass turn our attention towards the End Times, when Jesus will triumphantly return a Second Time. As we wait for that unexpected hour, we must not grow weary. The Christian stays vigilant, or rather, prays vigilantly.
