In this interview episode of Waiting to Be Signed, artist CCDDBB (Claudio Dalla Bernardina) recounts growing up in a small village in Italy, learning BASIC on a VIC-20 and later HTML/JavaScript, studying fine arts/media design in Milan, doing 3D work and photography, producing documentaries, then moving to Thailand to manage a restaurant. He describes how COVID shutdowns and his long involvement with crypto led him to Tezos NFTs, early activity on Hic Et Nunc, and then fx(hash), where he learned generative techniques through community peers. He discusses his evolving approach using “profiles” for meaningful rarity and his ongoing “Potable Mess” series.
