Episode 092 - Long-time Island resident and nationally-known filmmaker Garrett Bennett sits down with Richard and Sal of Wake Up Bainbridge to talk the island locations featured in his films; what it was like growing up Bainbridge; how the Island has changed and our current less affordable climate.

Garrett recalls the founding of Bainbridge Performing Arts from the old IGA at the current location of the The Plate & Pint to its current place as Bainbridge Island institution. He recounts his founding role and the unlikely events which led to the creation of the Annex Theatre which is still running today in Seattle.

We talk Garrett’s movies and his current project a television series set on an island next unlike Bainbridge called Rockaway .
