Wake Up Missouri On Demand

A $49.6 billion state operating budget has been signed into law by Governor Mike Kehoe. The governor has made several hundred million dollars in line-item vetoes. Governor Kehoe’s budget includes $2-billion for public safety and $59-million for agriculture, including funding for FFA. It also includes $15-million to support a future downtown Jefferson City conference center and parking garage. State Sen. The activities director at Columbia-based In-2 is grateful to have his job. Trey Dawson joined hosts Randy and Shannon Tobler live this morning on 939 the Eagle's "Wake Up Missouri". Mr. Dawson tells listeners that he's served time in 27 different county jails in 12 states and has been to the penitentiary five times. He says dogs in the prison changed his life.
