Harnessing the voices of those most impacted CPLAN strives to define what a quality “whole child” education looks like for students and works with policymakers, educators and community leaders to shape and achieve transformational and systemic change.
Currently, CPLAN is working on two core objectives: (1) create more culturally responsive school climates in which the needs of students with diverse backgrounds, learning abilities, and experiences are supported to thrive and (2) strengthen the overall quality education and enhance the school culture/climate to ensure the quality and educational experience and outcomes for students of color with social/emotional needs due to experiencing trauma from violence, homelessness, immigration, and poverty.
