Montana is proposing multiple changes to the rules and regulations. In this episode we dive into proposals for elk and deer hunting! Will they limit you on when where and how? Fishy things been going on in Montana lately. Increases in FWP commissioners, increase land owner tags and taking away of access and opportunity. Changes in meeting times to limit public participation! It’s all fishy and all true!! In the episode I stated that the either sex tags given would decrease opportunity. It is now proposed that the tags are free tags for bull elk harvest not to be subtracted from the allotted amount for public draw! However this is for now not for future still extremely sensitive situation for public land elk and opportunities!

It’s the Montana archery opener can’t believe it’s finally here!!!! This episode we dive into the vote on the Montana elk shoulder season and the commission’s decision to extend into more units and property! What it means for wildlife and conservation and our stance on the matter! We also discuss Montana Backcountry hunters and anglers stance ( see the link attached at bottom), as well and where I see this potentially going in the future!
