Wisconsin’s Civil War-era abortion law is currently being reviewed by the state supreme court. We hear some oral arguments and Brian and Kristin discuss.
Speaking of weird laws, Kristin and Brian list other weird, old and possibly outdated laws.
GIVING TUESDAY: Brian Noonan and Kristin Brey are joined on the phone by Sara Dunlap, community events and experiences manager at Kacmarcik Enterprises to talk about the Kapco Kids2Kids Toy Drive, how it got started, what kind of gifts do they prefer to be donated, cash donations as well as future events.
Ignore the existential dread of Christmas and temperate winters, are we enjoying those warmer winter and fall days? What about those who ski here in Wisconsin? Will it be more expensive to go all in on artificial snow?

-Peshtigo: In Marinette County, they are seeking to restore an eroding riverbank.
-Chippewa Falls: Every November, the city gives out a care package to active-duty military personnel and this year is their biggest yet.
-Milwaukee: The MacCanon Homeless Sanctuary has been approved to receive more funds to assist the homeless
Take the Highway: As we all know, traffic congestion in and around Downtown Milwaukee is pretty bad. The I-94 widening reconstruction project is receiving some backlash from environmental advocacy groups. Brian and Kristin discuss.
Ericka Sinclair joins Brian Noonan and Kristin Brey on the phone to talk about Milwaukee’s first Survivors Fest happening this Saturday, taking inspiration from the movie Black Panther starring the late, great Chadwick Boseman who passed away of colon cancer. They ask about the inspiration, what’s at the festival, how people can sign up and more.
TGI Friday’s has filed for bankruptcy like many sit-down chains. One remains in Wisconsin, located in Madison but the closest one to Milwaukee is in Gurnee, Illinois.
