  • Ep 14. You Prayed for Us. Now Walk With Us.

Some of us weren’t the people anybody expected to see following Jesus. But somebody kept praying we would.

This episode speaks to those finding their footing in Christ and the faithful people who prayed for their salvation. To those who prayed: thank you. We still need your wisdom, patience, and friendship. Please make room for who we’re becoming without keeping us trapped in who we used to be.

And to those of us who have come to Jesus: we have a responsibility too. Grace calls us to receive correction, rebuild trust where we’ve caused hurt, and live out our faith.

Through Saul, Ananias, and Barnabas in Acts 9, we explore new identity in Christ and what it means to walk beside one another.

Your Walk That Walk Challenge: thank someone who prayed for you, encourage a newer believer, and take one concrete step of obedience this week.

    Scripture: 2 Corinthians 5:17; Acts 9:1–28; Galatians 6:1; Ephesians 2:8–10; 1 Corinthians 12:12–27; Luke 15.

  • Ep. 13: Who Holds Up the Shepherd?

Your pastor prays with you, encourages you, and shows up when life gets heavy. But who’s showing up for them?

In this Pastor Appreciation episode, we open Scripture and talk about supporting our pastors through prayer, encouragement, and practical help. I also personally thank my pastor and his wife for helping lead me and my family to salvation in Jesus Christ.

This week’s Walk That Walk challenge: Pray for your pastor. Encourage them. Help carry the load.

Listen now, follow the podcast, and share this with someone who loves their church.

  • Ep. 12: His Gifts Are for You, and Your Gifts Benefit Everyone

God didn’t give you gifts just to keep them to yourself!

Not every calling comes with a pulpit, microphone, or spotlight. Sometimes your greatest gift is what you bring to the people around you every single day.

In this episode, Brother Andrew digs into Scripture and talks about recognizing the gifts God placed inside you, overcoming the fear of using them, and understanding that your gifts were meant to serve others.

    📖 1 Peter 4:10

God gave you the gift. Now put it to work!

  • Ep. 11: Learning to Receive | When “I Got It” Isn’t the Truth

You’ll show up for everybody else. But when somebody offers you a hand, out comes “I’m good.”

    What happens when you’re not?

In Episode 11 of Walk That Walk, Brother Andrew talks about why accepting help, love, and grace can be harder than giving them. Through Peter’s resistance to Jesus washing his feet, we examine our own discomfort with being cared for and remember that God’s grace is a gift we cannot earn.

Being dependable doesn’t mean you never get tired. And carrying somebody else’s burdens doesn’t mean yours have to stay hidden.

Your Walk That Walk challenge this week: receive one act of kindness, ask someone trustworthy for the help you need, and bring your needs honestly to God.

    Scripture: John 13:1–17 • Ephesians 2:8–10 • Galatians 6:2–5 • Hebrews 4:14–16

  • Ep. 10: Hope with Mud on its Boots | What Faith Looks Like Mid-week

You love your family. You’re thankful for your job. And you’re tired.

Sometimes all three are true at once.

Episode 10 of Walk That Walk, “Hope with Mud on Its Boots,” is an honest conversation about trusting Jesus through work shifts, unpaid bills, parenting, and the worries you haven’t said out loud.

We’re opening Matthew 11:28–30, Lamentations 3:21–24, and 1 Peter 1:3 to talk about hope that rests on a risen Savior, not a promise that everything will be easier tomorrow.

Your Walk That Walk challenge: hear Jesus, tell Him the truth, and take one faithful step each day.

  • Ep. 9: Holy, Not Holier Than Thou

What if the message you think everybody else needs is the one God wants you to hear?

Episode 9 of Walk That Walk takes an honest look at holiness without looking down on people. We’re opening Scripture, examining our motives, and asking whether we want people restored or simply want to be right.

I’m including myself in this conversation. I might be the person this message is for.

For the next seven days, check your heart before you check somebody else’s life. When you catch yourself judging someone, stop and ask: “Do I want this person restored, or do I just want to be right?” Then ask, “Jesus, what are You trying to change in me?”

  • Episode 8 | Radical Forgiveness in Real Time | You Hurt Me, But This Isn’t My Battle Anymore

What do you do when somebody really hurt you, and the apology never comes?

Forgiveness doesn’t mean pretending it didn’t happen. It doesn’t mean rebuilding trust overnight. And it doesn’t mean giving someone the same access to your life they had before.

It means being able to say:

You hurt me. I acknowledge it. But this isn’t my battle to fight anymore.

In Episode 8 of Walk That Walk, we look at Joseph refusing to take God’s place, David refusing revenge, Job praying for the friends who accused him, and Jesus praying for those crucifying Him.

We’ll talk about bitterness, boundaries, reconciliation, trusting God with justice, and why your freedom cannot depend on somebody else’s repentance.

This week’s Walk That Walk Challenge:
The 7-Day Debt-Cancellation Challenge. Name the person. Name the hurt. Hand the battle over to God. Then pray for them for seven days.

    📖 Ephesians 4:31–32
📖 Matthew 5:44
📖 Genesis 50:19–20
📖 Job 42:7–10
📖 Romans 12:18–19
📖 Luke 23:34
📖 1 Samuel 24

    Don’t just hear about forgiveness.

    Walk it out.

  • Episode 7: Faithful Over Small Things (Scaling Your Purpose)

You keep asking God for something bigger, but how are you handling what is already in your hands?

David was anointed to become king, yet he returned to the field and continued tending sheep. That ordinary responsibility was not beneath his calling. It was part of God’s preparation for it.

In Episode 7, we talk about staying faithful through the unnoticed seasons, honoring the responsibilities already in front of us, and allowing God to develop our character before expanding our influence.

Your purpose may not be on hold. God may be building it through your work, your family, your prayer life, and the small acts of obedience nobody applauds.

“Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much.” Luke 16:10

This week’s Walk That Walk Challenge:

Choose one small responsibility you have been neglecting. For the next seven days, handle it faithfully and treat it like a holy assignment.

Stop waiting for a bigger stage. Be faithful where your feet are planted.

  • Ep. 6: Auditing Your Spiritual Inputs (Guard Your Heart)

What is the first thing feeding your mind when you wake up, and what is the last thing putting you to sleep?

We often treat mindless scrolling as harmless downtime, but your mind is not a trash bin or an infinite sponge that can absorb endless worldly noise without spiritual consequence. You cannot spend hours marinating in cynicism, outrage, and comparison online and then wonder why you feel anxious, prayerless, and spiritually dry.

In this episode of Walk That Walk, we audit what enters the gates of our minds and lay out practical spiritual guardrails. Grounded in Proverbs 4:23 ("Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it") and Philippians 4:8, we break down three core pillars to establish digital friction and replace cultural noise with eternal truth.

    Inside this episode:

The Reality Check: Why digital clutter drains your spiritual capacity and peace.

The Input-Output Principle: Understanding why what you consume in secret manifests in public.

Digital Friction: How to stop your smartphone from acting like a slot machine for your attention.

Fast & Feast: Why fasting from distraction requires feasting on Scripture.

🎯 This Week’s "Walk That Walk" Challenge:

Execute the 7-Day Digital Input Fast & Scriptural Swap:

    1. Identify the ONE app that steals the most time or stirs up the most anxiety and uninstall it for 7 full days.

  • Ep. 5: Killing the "Someday" Idol (Overcoming Hesitation & Procrastination)

How many times have you told yourself, "Someday, when the timing is right, I’ll finally take that step"?

Waiting for the "perfect time" or waiting to "feel led" is often just fear disguised as spirituality. In this episode of Walk That Walk, we expose the spiritual trap of procrastination, discuss a real-time miracle witnessed at a local shelter outreach, and examine what happens when we stop hesitating and step into obedience.

Grounded in Ecclesiastes 11:4 ("Whoever watches the wind will not plant...") and Proverbs 3:5–6, we break down why direction follows motion and why God calls us to step into the water before He parts the river.

    Inside this episode:

The Reality Check: Why waiting on "ideal conditions" is delayed obedience.

The Blueprint: Lessons from Joshua 3 and Solomon on breaking spiritual paralysis.

A Shelter Miracle: What happens when you move into the friction instead of pulling away.
