As much as Social Media has helped bridge the gap in connecting with one another over great distances and brought us closer, Social Media also brought certain areas of focus to our attention.
Like any progressive stride that humanity accomplishes, there is a regressive part to it.
In this episode we discuss about some of the dark sides to Social Media that have become even more prominent over the past years that are completely unavoidable now.
This episode is a follow-up to the previous episode about Memento Mori.
What makes life so valuable?
We can all list many reasons as to why life is so valuable. However, one thing that we can agree on is that life is precious.
The very breath that you breathe is what makes it priceless. Because there is no price to it.
Anyway, what do you think makes life so valuable?
*Our apologies, we only noticed now that there was an audio issue. It is sorted now*
Memento Mori
"Remember You Will Die"
It is self-explanatory.
However, through this acknowledgement about death and its certainty, we can begin to live, and not just thrive, as we have been doing unconsciously.
Let us begin to live.
Let us live life and not just thrive.
You are the sum of the actions you took.
And you are the sum of the actions you did not take.
Whatever actions you took or did not take, life will reflect the very actions you took or did not take.
That is why life is a mirror.
It shows you what you did and what it led to.
Or what you did not do and what it led to.
At the root of it all is that you took action, and that is what life requires us to do.
The common way that we portray fear is when we describe or associate an immediate or potential danger or threat.
But is that there all is to fear?
Fear can be either become your ally or your enemy.
That all depends on your situation, perspective and your choice of action.
This episode was our take on fear.
Define yourself or the world will define you.
What does "defining yourself" entail?
What intricacies are at works when you undergo such a process?
Can you firmly say that you are your authentic self or are you a shelf of what they tell you that you are?
Ultimately you make yourself or someone will make you into what they want you to be
