In this episode of Walk With Us, I’m opening up about what marriage can look like after kids, the seasons when you feel like two passing ships, and why being intentional about your relationship matters so much - even when life feels nonstop.
We’ll talk about motherhood’s village, the reality that sometimes you have to be the village for everyone else, and the struggle to balance getting everything done with actually being present. Through the story of Mary and Martha, we’ll reflect on what it means to slow down, let go of the pressure, and choose presence over perfection.
This is a conversation about marriage, motherhood, faith, and finding your way back to each other in the middle of a beautifully messy season of life. 🤍
Chocolate chip cookie recipe:
(Makes about 24 small cookies or about 15 big ones)
2 1/4 cups of all purpose flour
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1 teaspoon of salt
2 sticks of softened butter
3/4 cup of white sugar
3/4 cup of brown sugar (dark brown is my preference)
1 teaspoon of vanilla
2 large eggs
2 cups of semi sweet nestle chocolate chips
1 cup chopped pecans (optional - if not using, add one tablespoon of flour)
Mix dry ingredients together in a separate bowl (flour, soda, salt) then mix your wet ingredients in a separate bowl (butter, sugars, vanilla, eggs)
Combine both together
Add in chocolate then nuts
Bake at 375 for 9-11 minutes!!!
Leaving behind the career I worked so hard for to be home with my babies has been one of the most beautiful and challenging seasons of my life. Between the guilt of being on my phone too much, the pressure to be a present mom, and the feeling that I should always be doing more, I’ve found myself struggling to slow down and simply enjoy the life right in front of me.
In this episode of Walk With Us, I’m sharing the honest side of motherhood that we don’t always talk about, learning to let go of guilt, embracing the season we’re in, and finding peace in the middle of the chaos. Through my growing relationship with Jesus, I’m learning that I don’t have to carry every worry on my own.
Maybe we don’t need to have it all figured out. Maybe we just need to take a breath, be present, and trust that we’re exactly where we’re meant to be. 🤍
Welcome to the very first episode of Walk With Us. 🤍
In this first conversation, I’m opening up about the beginning of my journey through young motherhood, the parts of motherhood that have stretched me, and the woman I’ve been becoming along the way.
I’ll also share something much deeper and more personal: my journey of discovering who Jesus really is. Not just what I had been taught about Him, but who He became to me when I started asking questions, searching, and truly wanting to know Him.
This podcast isn’t about having everything figured out. It’s about walking through life honestly: motherhood, marriage, business, faith, doubt, growth, and all the messy moments in between.
So wherever you are in your own journey, I hope you’ll come walk with us. 🤍
