  • Walk Worthy Episode 7 : Why God Allows Suffering
Walk Worthy — Episode 7: Why God Allows Suffering

Why does a loving God allow suffering? If God is good, why do we experience pain, loss, heartbreak, and tragedy?

And where is God when life doesn't make sense?

In Episode 7 of Walk Worthy, Chad Lail takes on one of the most difficult questions of faith: Why does God allow suffering?

Looking at the opening chapters of Genesis and the powerful story of Job, Chad explores the reality of a broken world, the pain of human suffering, and the difficult questions that arise when our circumstances don't line up with what we believe about God's goodness.

Genesis helps us understand how sin and brokenness entered the world. The story of Job challenges us to wrestle with suffering even when we don't have all the answers. Together, these passages invite us to look beyond our immediate circumstances and consider the bigger picture of God's plan.

But this isn't just a conversation about pain. It's a conversation about hope, redemption, and the character of God.

Even when we cannot understand why suffering happens, Scripture points us toward a God who has not abandoned His creation. From the brokenness introduced in Genesis to the ultimate redemption made possible through Jesus Christ, God's story is moving toward restoration.Maybe you're walking through a difficult season right now.

Maybe you've questioned God, struggled with unanswered prayers, or wondered why He allowed something painful to happen in your life.

Those questions don't have to be the end of your faith. They can become part of a deeper journey toward understanding, trust, and hope.

We may not always understand our suffering, but we can look to the One who meets us in it—and who has promised that suffering will not have the final word.

Join Chad for an honest, Scripture-centered conversation about suffering, faith, and the ultimate redemption found in God's plan.

Walk Worthy. Hold on to Hope. Trust the Redeemer.

  • Walk Worthy Episode 6 : The Prodigal Son
Walk Worthy — Episode 6: The Prodigal Son

What does it mean to truly come home?

In this episode of Walk Worthy, Chad Lail begins by sharing about his experience at the Element 26 Men’s Retreat, where he had the opportunity to speak to a group of men and witness something incredibly powerful—men making a decision to follow Jesus and being baptized.

That experience sets the stage for one of Jesus' most powerful parables: the story of the Prodigal Son in Luke 15:11.

Chad takes a deeper look at a son who walked away from his father, squandered what he had been given, and eventually found himself broken and lost. But when he finally decided to turn around and go home, something incredible happened. His father was waiting for him. The Prodigal Son isn't just a story about rebellion. It's a story about grace, forgiveness, restoration, and a Father's relentless love.

Maybe you've walked away from God.

Maybe you've made choices you're ashamed of. Maybe you've convinced yourself that you've gone too far to come back.

The message of Jesus is simple:

    Come home.

The Father isn't standing there waiting to condemn you. He's waiting with open arms.

Through Chad's experience at the men's retreat and the message of Luke 15, this episode is a reminder that no matter how far we've wandered, God's grace is always calling us back.

You don't have to clean yourself up before you come home.

    Just turn around.

    The Father is waiting.

    Walk Worthy.

    Come Home.

  • Walk Worthy Episode 5 : My Testimony
Walk Worthy — Episode 5: My Testimony

Every testimony has a story. And sometimes, the road to Jesus doesn't look anything like we expected. In this deeply personal episode of Walk Worthy, Chad Lail opens up about his journey—from his career in professional wrestling and the highs and challenges that came with it, to the pain of divorce and the moments in life that forced him to take a hard look at where he was heading. But this isn't a story about a perfect life. It's a story about grace, brokenness, redemption, and finding Jesus in the middle of it all.

Chad shares honestly about the experiences that shaped him, the struggles that brought him to his knees, and how God met him right where he was. What began as a journey through success, failure, loss, and searching ultimately became something far greater—a relationship with Jesus Christ. Sometimes God doesn't meet us at our strongest. Sometimes He meets us when we're broken.

When we've run out of answers.

When the life we thought we wanted falls apart.

When we finally realize that we can't do it on our own. That's where the story changes.

    This is Chad's story.

    This is his testimony.

And ultimately, it's a story about what Jesus can do with a life surrendered to Him. You may think you've gone too far.

You may think your past defines you.

You may think your story is already written.

    But God isn't finished.

Come hear the testimony. Come hear the redemption.

Come hear how Chad found Jesus.

    Walk Worthy.

  • Walk Worthy Episode 4 : Walk By The Spirit
    Walk Worthy — Episode 4:

Walk By The Spirit What does it really mean to walk by the Spirit?

In this episode of Walk Worthy, Chad Lail dives into Romans 8, one of the most powerful chapters in Scripture, and explores what it means to live a life led by the Spirit of God. Romans 8 reminds us that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. But it also challenges us to change the way we think, the way we live, and ultimately, the direction we walk.

There is a battle happening within us—a choice between living according to the flesh or setting our minds on the things of the Spirit. And that choice affects everything: our attitudes, our decisions, our relationships, our priorities, and our faith. But walking by the Spirit isn't about becoming perfect. It's about surrender. It's about allowing God to transform our minds, guide our steps, and teach us to live differently because of who we are in Christ.

In Romans 8, Paul reminds us that we are not slaves to fear, that we have been adopted as children of God, and that the Spirit of God lives within us. So what would happen if we stopped trying to walk through life on our own strength and started following where the Spirit leads?

    A new mindset.

    A higher purpose.

A different way to walk. This is what it means to Walk Worthy.

  • Episode 3 : Come To Me
Walk Worthy — Episode 3: Come With Me

What are you carrying that you were never meant to carry alone? In Matthew 11:28–30, Jesus gives one of the most powerful invitations in Scripture: Come to Me. Come when you're weary. Come when you're overwhelmed. Come when life feels heavy and you don't know how much longer you can keep going. In this episode of Walk Worthy, Chad Lail takes a deeper look at Jesus' invitation to the weary and burdened. Jesus doesn't promise that life will never be difficult. Instead, He invites us to walk with Him—to learn from Him, trust Him, and discover the rest that can only be found in His presence.

Sometimes we think we need to have everything figured out before we come to Jesus. We don't. We simply need to come. The world tells us to carry our own weight. Jesus tells us to give Him our burdens. The world tells us to keep pushing. Jesus tells us to walk with Him. Maybe today you’re exhausted from trying to do it all yourself. Maybe you've been carrying something for far too long.

Jesus is still saying, “Come to Me.” Come as you are.

    Come with your burdens.

    Come with your questions.

Come with your brokenness. And walk with Him.

    Walk Worthy. Walk With Jesus.

  • Walk Worthy Episode 2 : The Armor For Battle
Walk Worthy — Episode 2: The Armor for Battle

What does it mean to be prepared for battle? In this episode of Walk Worthy, Chad Lail briefly shares pieces of his own story—from his years as a wrestler to serving in the United States Marine Corps following 9/11. Those experiences taught him about discipline, preparation, perseverance, and what it means to stand ready when the moment comes.

But there is another battle we all face—one that isn't fought with physical strength or weapons. Chad turns to Ephesians 6 and Paul's powerful reminder to put on the full armor of God. Scripture reminds us that our struggle is not ultimately against flesh and blood, and that we need to be spiritually prepared to stand firm. From the belt of truth and breastplate of righteousness to the shield of faith, helmet of salvation, and sword of the Spirit, Chad breaks down what it means to put on God's armor and walk into each day prepared for the battles that come our way. Because just like a wrestler prepares before stepping onto the mat and a Marine prepares before stepping into battle, we have to prepare spiritually before the battle begins. The question isn't whether battles will come.

The question is: Will you be ready?

Walk Worthy. Stand Firm. Put on the Armor.

  • Episode 1 : Sitting With Jesus
In a world that constantly tells us to do more, accomplish more, and keep moving. The story of Martha and Mary reminds us of something we so easily forget: sometimes the most important thing we can do is simply sit at the feet of Jesus.

In this episode of Walk Worthy, we take a deeper look at the familiar story of Martha and Mary and the tension between serving Jesus and being present with Him. Martha was busy preparing and serving, while Mary chose to stop, listen, and sit at Jesus’ feet. When Martha became frustrated, Jesus gently reminded her that Mary had chosen what truly mattered. But what does that mean for us today?

This episode explores the difference between activity and intimacy, doing and being, serving and surrendering. It’s a reminder that our worth isn't found in how much we accomplish for God, but in knowing Him, listening to Him, and making room to simply be with Him.

Maybe you've been busy. Maybe you've been serving. Maybe you've been trying to hold everything together. Perhaps Jesus is inviting you to stop for a moment, put everything down, and sit with Him.

Sometimes walking worthy doesn't mean doing more.

Sometimes it means knowing when to sit.
