On today's walk I resolve to listen to Portchester waking up on a Saturday morning

The early morning is a great time for quiet contemplation

The people living in our community are probably outnumbered by our wildlife

On today's walk were are thinking, not about people but about all of the diverse life forms that surround us

They, surely, also call this place home

I'm rarely comfortable around dogs but they provide introductions to their owners - and often inspire writing when I return home
