Why do you follow Jesus? Many in John 6 followed Him for what they could get—but walked away when He challenged what they wanted. This passage shows that you can be near Jesus, hear His words, and still turn back when following Him costs more than you expected. Jesus doesn’t adjust to meet our expectations—He calls for total surrender. The question is the same today: Will you stay, or will you walk away? Are you chasing  a “useful” Jesus—or surrendering to the Jesus you need? (John 6:59–71)
