Poetry On Life

Walking in the Wilderness

Listen Later

The Sun will set, never mind what

How else will it rise again?

If we don’t write what comes to mind

What use the golden Pen?

One word best describes the world

None other than Dust,

All’s fair in love and war, and

Acceptance is a must.

An invisible thread it is

That connects things, surreptitiously,

Life’s crossword puzzle

Resolves, so mysteriously.

Peddling paranoia

In the garb of genuine fears,

For a world engaged in conflict

Will only result in tears.

World War 1 and World War 2

Will there be a 3

Or, will things as they seem to be

Mean, at War, eternally.

The Candle of Hope must never die

Flicker it will with breeze,

Keep fanning it with undying faith

And, it will never freeze.

Walking in the wilderness

Midst the glory of Mother Nature,

Is this Man of mighty structures

But of very puny stature.
