The list can go on and on and on. Those things that drag us down and discourage us...Jesus knows about all of them. And He relates to us because He's experienced those same feelings. Our weaknesses don't go unnoticed by God. He gives us the power to work through them. As Pastor Johnny shares with us today, Jesus is our High Priest who goes to God for us. There are many things about the old testament priesthood that indicate Jesus is a much better candidate for this title than any other man. All of the rituals and offerings that the priest performed paved a way for people to enter the presence of God. But it wasn't a one-time thing like the sacrifice of Jesus. There are those things in life where you can't have one without the other. I'm thinking of pairs that complement each other.
