In the first of two episodes, Mama Hayes and Izzy talk about the WNBA! Chris is out for this and next two podcasts, probably for the better.

In the third and final episode on Title IX, Mama Hayes, Chris, and Izzy discuss barriers that are still present for women athletes, coaching representation, what role the media plays in advancing women in sports, and a thoughtful conversation of inclusion for trans-athletes.

Mama Hayes has moved since the last podcast throwing the podcast schedule off just a little bit. But no worries, she took time away from unpacking boxes to unpack whatever the hell the NCAA pulled between the Men's and the Women's tournament! The team dives right into the inequality of the two tournaments and the NCAA's response. The team grows as Mama Hayes and Chris welcome in Izzy to lend her knowledge to the podcast. The three get into the impact of Title IX in the 1980's and 1990's. Do not worry, they bring back LAWYER MINUTIA TALK, YES! Stay tuned for part 3 of Title IX! 

Mama Hayes and Chris get into the first of a three part series on Title IX. They lay out the plan for the next nine episodes of Mama Hayes's first podcast and the themes they will cover. This episode the two of them rope you into listening with...lawyer minutia talk! Riveting stuff! They explore why Title IX act was signed in 1972 and how it did not apply to sports at all when it was first signed. Mama Hayes continues to share some of her experiences and others she interviewed about their time playing women's sports in the 1960's and 1970's. 

We're trying something new! Mama Hayes had an idea to talk about women's sports, the importance of it, and making sure to highlight their successes. We dive into what inspired her to start this podcast. Name and format is still being workshopped but we're getting our legs under us with this new adventure. We are both really excited and hoping you join us!

It's the second part to the season 3 finale episode! Things might be a little dated since this was recorded a week ago. That being said, Mama Hayes and I recap the entire Canes 2020 season. In classic season 3 fashion, no matter how I try to keep the show on the tracks, Mama Hayes takes the train where she wants to go! We look ahead to the off-season and give Manny Diaz all the advice he definitely wants to hear from us. Sadly we never get to Purdue Football talk, ending our streak at two seasons. Whelp, the Canes season fell off a cli...ledge the last two games. Mama Hayes and I bring you all a two part season wrap up episode. We start by recapping the UNC and Oklahoma State games. Unfortunately we focus a lot on the negative over the past two games. No fear though, we turn it around by showering D'Eriq King with love and praise. Mama Hayes hands out her final RBR and CCM awards for the 2020 season. We will back next week to recap the 2020 season and look ahead to the off-season! Go Canes!
