  • Genesis 6:1-4 Who are the "sons of God"?
In this episode JP discusses the three basic interpretations of who the “sons of God” refer to in Genesis 6. This passage is a good example that believers in Christ can disagree at times on interpretation of Scripture and serves as a reminder that we are to maintain a literal, historical, grammatical approach to Bible interpretation if we are to be consistent in our approach to Scripture.

  • Genesis 3 - The Man, the Woman, and the Serpent
The story of Genesis chapter three is the hinge upon which the history of mankind would turn, as it was the first instance of sin and disobedience to God. In order to fully understand the severity of this event, it is important to examine the roles of each main character- the man, the woman, and the serpent. This episode discusses the roles of men and women and their relationship, as outlined in the Bible. It emphasizes the importance of following God’s design for marriage and family, with men being responsible for leadership and provision and women being responsible for supporting and caring for their husbands and children. JP also identifies Satan as the serpent in the Garden of Eden and warns about his attacks and deception, encouraging you to be vigilant and rely on the Word of God to defend against him.
