There is a little bit of comfort in knowing how the story ends! We know that no matter how bad it looks God is faithful!

The most significant verse in Micah is Micah 6:8 and it teaches us three steps to living lives of impact!

When you look at the world around us it is easy to lose hope. It is easy to think, “no one can fix this!” The truth is; there really is hope!

Have you ever had someone say, “you have to get to the root of the problem?” Problems will never really be dealt with unless we can get to the root of the issue. There are symptoms that surround us in this world, but what is the root of injustice?

There a Hall of Fame for just about anything: country music, baseball, poker...the list goes on and on. Hebrews chapter 11 is filled with folks that we would expect to be in the hall of faith, but it also includes some surprises.

Did you or your kids ever have a security blanket? You know, that favorite blanket, stuffed animal or toy that they couldn’t or wouldn’t leave the house, fall asleep or otherwise behave without. Well, God has provided us with a security blanket of faith and you might be surprised by what it is!

Every kid has gone to the pool with a friend and held an impromptu contest to see who could hold their breath the longest. In general we are impressed by people who persevere. We are impressed by marathon runners, inspired by protestors “sitting in” and awed by mountain climbers. What should really inspire us is the ability to keep the faith.

You have been anxious or worried about something at one time or another. One study said, “Anxiety and depression is becoming increasingly prevalent among young adults in the US, with both disorders increasing by 63% from 2005 to 2017.” At the same time, those who identify as Christians in the United States has decreased by 12%. Jesus is the source of true peace in this life.
