~ The Huddle with John Furner ~
Today was George Floyd’s memorial. Our country paused to pay its respects to someone taken from us so unjustly. Earlier this week, John, along with millions of others, participated in #BlackOutTuesday. The purpose was to elevate voices of the Black community, show solidarity and reflect on how we can all take a strong stance against racism. Store Manager NaToya Champion shared a really powerful message about what each of us can do. Be empathetic. Initiate conversations. Ask, “Are you okay?” And now more than ever, listen. We’re so grateful to have leaders like NaToya serving our communities and setting a positive example.
