One of the greatest evidences for Christianity is the conversion of a man by the name of Saul--a persecutor of Christians who became a proclaimer of Christianity. Saul, later known as Paul, would go on to write a large portion of the New Testament & risk life & limb to share the gospel.
The drama of Eden is presented to us throughout scripture, and central to this drama is a question—How do I navigate good and evil so that it leads to life with the Father both now and for eternity? This is about man’s quest for wisdom—how to find it and how to live by it? That’s where Psalm 119 comes in.
Psalm 103 challenges us to change our default setting. Instead of complaining, let your first response be proclaiming. Think to thank. Ponder then praise. Remember and rejoice. Calibrate your life. Psalm 36 is a reminder that there are two teams—Good and Evil. David knew something about this battle. He played for both teams. He was the hero and the villain. There was a time when he was one of the great warrior kings for TEAM GOD. But then there was a moment in which he forgot who he was and what he was fighting for.
