This week on the Walt’s Oasis podcast, I am joined by Pam Burns-Clair and Haley Clair, the daughter and granddaughter of Imagineer Harriet Burns.
We discuss the life and work of Harriet Burns, the first woman hired by WED Enterprises (now Walt Disney Imagineering) in a creative capacity. Included are conversations about her work on attractions such as Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room and “it’s a small world”; as well as 1964’s Mary Poppins.
Please follow myself and the show on Instagram @spencerwright1989 and @waltoasis. Please also feel free to e-mail any comments, questions, or episode suggestions to [email protected].
You can visit Harriet’s official website here, which includes where you can purchase the book Walt Disney's First Lady of Imagineering, Harriet Burns.
