Vice President Kamala Harris has chosen Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate. Walz, known for his progressive policies and viral media presence, has faced both praise and criticism for his handling of issues such as the COVID-19 pandemic and civil unrest following George Floyd's murder. 

His selection is expected to strengthen Harris' campaign in the Upper Midwest, a crucial region for the upcoming election.
