The Nashville City Cemetery Association (NCCA) is administered by an all volunteer board of directors. The Association board works with the Metro Historical Commission and the Metro Board of Parks & Recreation. NCCA works closely with the Metro Historical Commission to restore the cemetery and to increase awareness through public participation. NCCA is involved with sponsoring special tours that are open and free to the public, in addition to fundraising activities, including the annual fall Living History Tour/Lantern Tours, the Memorial Day Dash in May, and in developing the NCCA website to make available inscriptions and photographs of tombstones, interment records, obituaries, and historical information for those buried at City Cemetery.The Nashville City Cemetery Association, Inc. is a membership organization that works to protect, preserve, restore and raise public awareness of the Nashville City Cemetery in collaboration with the Historical Commission of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Tennessee.
