Western society is built on an accountability culture that is fully dependent on the assumption of free will. What if the very nature of our being was completely determined? What would that look like? Feel like?

Death is universal among humans and we rarely consider it's existence within our lives and the badness of it at the end of our lives. Discussed (from ethics class) are Frances Kamm and Shelly Kagan (among others). This attacks the deprivationist view that death is comparatively bad.
