This episode features a conversation with my good friend and fellow photographer Gloria Caballero. Gloria is an independent artist focusing on portrait photography. She is originally from Mexico but she is based in Toronto, Canada. Gloria and I collaborated many times on each other’s photo shoots, which was very beneficial to keep the momentum going, especially on the beginning, or re-start of an artistic career.
In this episode we talked about balancing being a mother with pursuing a career in the arts, about getting inspiration from travel, about the role of graduate school for an artist, and setting up conditions where you just have to do the work.

A conversation with Tamar Ilana about her journey in world music, focusing on Flamenco and Sephardic Music.
The Wanderings Podcast is back! After a long hiatus, I am releasing a new episode featuring an interview with Iana Komarnytska. Iana is probably the most influential person on me becoming an artist and, maybe most importantly, choosing to keep being one. She also happens to be my wife, which gives a funny dynamic for this conversation.
We talked about her journey in the world of belly dance, folkloric dances of the Near east and the spread of these art forms through the West.
This is a special episode of the Wanderings Podcast featuring a conversation with Fabio Marchioro. Fabio is a multi-faceted thinker and a good friend. He is novelist, screenwriter, journalist, lawyer, professor, and coach. In this conversation we talked about his projects, his journey through different careers, creativity, and re-inventing yourself.
Today’s guest is Demetrios Petsalakis, a Greek musician and composer based in Toronto, Canada. In this conversation, Pedro and Demetrios talk about world music and Demi’s musical trajectory. The conversation is infused with a demonstration of the sounds from some of the instruments that he plays, including the oud, Bouzouki, and Cretan lyra.
A conversation with world-class fine art nude photographer Dan Hecho. Find his work on Instagram @dan_hecho
In this episode of the Wanderings Podcast Pedro Bonatto talks to Stacey Yerofeyeva (aka Nastasia Y) about her journey through world music and the influence of the music of Ukraine, where she was born. This is also the second episode of Pedro’s video show called The DNA of Music.
At the end of the interview you will hear a performance of ‘Kolyskova’, a deeply personal song to Nastasia Y.
