  • Kazakhstan And The Man With No Name

Our guest today is a pastor from the country of Kazakhstan.  He is on a sabbatical in the United States with his family.  In order to protect him and his family from possible harm, we have chosen not to disclose his identity.  He came to Christ the year after the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991 right after Kazakhstan became a democratic republic.  With the changes and hardship that came when Communism fell,  the door for western missionaries opened and a season of religious freedom began.

Today, there is much less freedom to openly proclaim Christ outside the physical walls of the church building.  Join us as we learn from the "pastor without a name".  Hear him tell about his journey and the blessings and challenges of pastoring an evangelical church in an Eastern European nation.

  • I Was Changed In Mongolia

After a difficult short term trip to Mongolia, and a later internship to the same harsh land, Heather Johnson heard the call to go back yet again, and this time to stay.  Teaching English and children were both low in her list of things she wanted to do, and those were the exact doors that God opened wide for her over the six years.  Heather worked with the young residents of the government children's center. In the end, she says that she was changed the most.
