Kya hai koi aisa dunya men dekhe jis ne gham nahin
Jo roya nahin aur aankh jis ki hui kabhi num nahin
Waqt ba waqt ki baat hai, khel hai saara qismat ka
Mubarak kyon khushi ko den mujrim to alam nahin
Yaro, tum wohi main wohi badla to kuch bhi nahin
Sheeshe ka qusur sab, mulzim aakhir hum nahin
Gardishon ki baat aur sakoot e sumundur ki kya
Kaun hai jis ne sahil dekhe aur dekhe talatum nahin
Gar basa len dil ke khaanon men khuda ko hum ‘sahil’
Phir khaali na hogi ja koi, rukega ranj o gham nahin
