Please. Can you help my son, Jackson, and his Stanford Wrestling teammates and write an email?  When ODU dropped their wrestling program I reached out and corresponded with their AD for several emails. I also emailed their president and their local news. I learned a great deal. I learned that ego-driven people can easily, unjustifiably and unjustly destroy the hopes and dreams of lifetime-athletes for no apparent reason.  In Stanford’s case, a knee-jerk reaction and very little thought combined with an AD with a history of eliminating programs without justification to create the easily avoidable destruction of 270+ real lives. For example, in under two days funding was guaranteed to fully endow the men’s wrestling program. The athletic administration responded by explaining that no amount of fundraising would change their decision to eliminate all 11 of the athletic programs being discontinued - for financial reasons.  As logic is clearly absent, the decision must be the result of some personal financial gain, a personal gain to the AD’s ego, or just plain ignorance. Whatever the case, especially as the wrestling program can fund itself, please don’t allow one man’s tyrannical ego to crush the lifetime goals of our children - our wrestlers.  Please click the link for the response guide and send emails to the addresses listed. I wrestled for 2 years at windsor forest high school in savannah ga won the area indiv weight class 220. I went 41-14 2019-20 all greater savannah wrestling 1st team i took 4th place in sectionals and was 8th in state. And a future wrestler at montreat college in north carolina with coach jake britt.

Gabriel is a District Finalist and a Blood Round at Regionals wrestler. Was on Floridas National Cadet Freestyle and Greco Team. Has 72 career wins. Master of the double overs!  

Nick Haworth is a 2x District Finalist. 2 year wrestler. Regional Semifinalist. Career 70 victories. Won the deciding match as a freshman to qualifiy our team for the State Duals

Leighton Tinch 1st year Varsity wrestler won 40 matches. Runner up at Clearwater Catholic Small School Challenge, Polk County Brian Bain Champion only the 3rd in school history. District Champion. 3rd in the Region was 1 win away from placing at state. Member of Tenorocs 40 win club

  Kris Hunter 34 wins as first year freshman. County bronze medalist District Finalist and Tenorocs first freshman State qualifier. Took 4 th at Florida Prides Takedown tourney.

Brewer went 95-22 and 48-10 in duals in his career at Oklahoma. He was a Big 12 finalist in each of his four seasons and placed seventh, eighth, first and third at nationals from 2013-16. Tech assistant coach Jared Frayer was on staff at Oklahoma, his alma mater, from Brewer’s true freshman campaign in 2011-12 through his redshirt sophomore season in 2013-14.
