During his time in Kansas, the team improved their national finish year over year. In his last three seasons there, Sebaaly had 11 NJCAA All-Americans, four National Finalists, three NJCAA National Champions, and two top 10 finishes at the NJCAA National Tournament. Sebaaly had a great deal of success transferring student-athletes to a number of NCAA Division I, II, III and NAIA Schools. His team was also the NWCA National Duals Champions in the NJCAA Division during the 2018-2019 season. Prior to arriving in Kansas, Sebaaly coached for two seasons at Alfred State in Alfred, New York as they began transitioning from the NJCAA to NCAA Division III. In his time there, he had three collegiate All-Americans. Sebaaly, a Lancaster, New York native wrestled collegiately in the NCAA Division I level at the University at Buffalo. In the 2002-2003 season, he was selected as the team’s Top Newcomer. He also was selected and honored as part of the Mid-American Conference Wrestling Academic Team. In his time there, Sebaaly completed a Bachelor of Arts in history and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Social Studies education. Sebaaly has also completed a Master of Arts in history from Buffalo State College and obtained his doctorate degree in educational leadership from Southwestern College in Winfield, Kansas.
