Mark 14:32-42

Jesus experiences and knows both our physical exhaustion and our spiritual exhaustion. Your friendship with God doesn't depend on how well we keep watch with Jesus. Your friendship with God depends on the definitive work of Jesus on your behalf, which is a free gift. That is good news for the exhausted!

Mark 13: 32-36 - In the midst of chaos and crisis, Jesus calls us to discipleship.  May we surrender to our God who is steadfast, just, compassionate and purposed.

Mark 12:28-31 - When the contagious love of God takes hold of our hearts, we are set free to love God and our neighbors.

Jesus destroys the whole religious system and rebuilds a new way of relating to God.

 Ask for the heart of God. Ask for new life. 

In order to get the gospel of Jesus we have to encounter the glory of Jesus.

 Jesus uses His authority to embody the good news. And as the “Living Good News,” He invites his followers to first experience the good news personally, and then He empowers them to join Him in sharing and living the good news.

Faith is the antidote to fear. Do not fear, but believe!
