  • Cruel Intentions

The film about two depraved Manhattanite step siblings with weird sort-of incest-y sexual chemistry, with a baby Reese and Ryan in the throes of their real-life young love, a sprinkle of close-up girl-on-girl smooching. How old were YOU the first time you saw Cruel Intentions? It was 1999 and we can tell you now, Shane and Amelia were definitely TOO young to be watching this! Let's find out if the scandalous story of the Valmont-Merteuil siblings still holds up today..

Probably one of the creepiest film scores to ever grace our ears, the film that propelled Jamie Lee Curtis to stardom and what spawned a further ELEVEN films in the franchise. We're talking about the iconic film score, the teeny pay check John Carpenter received and .. a chat about mental health and its negative portrayal in films.

  • SCREAM

Week 2 of Spooky SZN is here and we are in Woodsboro with Sidney Prescott trying to outrun that jerk in a cape, Ghostface. That's right friends, we are chatting about Scream, the 1996 film that spun the horror-slasher genre on its head. We have lots of behind-the-scenes tea, some thoughts about THAT costume, Gail Weathers' micro-fringe and a discussion about psuedo-journalism and amateur TikTok detectives plus so much more.

This week's This or That is iconic Boy Bands of the 90's-00's and we just want to know: Backstreet Boys or N*Sync?

  • The Craft

*TW: Suicide, self harm and sexual assault are discussed in this episode in relation to the movie*

It is officially SPOOKY SEASON! Or October, as most people call it. We're kicking off our month-long ode to all films spooky by heading back to 1996 to get witchy with a group of outcast teenage girls in LA. We've got our black lipstick on, our vinyl jackets zipped up and Connie Francis blasting!

Then for this week's This or That, its a battle between the 90s-00s GIRL BANDS.
