Scripture tells that God, which always causes us to triumph in Christ and makes manifest the savor of his knowledge by us in every place. This means that through the spreading of the Gospel of Jesus Christ the message and hope of God found in His Son would bring a sweet savor. It would bring salvation and redeem them from perishing. Meanwhile to the unbeliever or enemy of Christ we are as is the message of Christ and the gospel a savor of death that would bring death. So to the one they were life and to the other one they were death. It is the same today.

2Co 2:14-16

(14)  Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.

(15)  For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish:

(16)  To the one we are the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things?

Dunamis of Acts Part 2 “Promise” on Battle Lines | www.warn-usa.com | WIBR/WARN

We are in the book of Acts in our latest study. This is on the Dunamis or might and power of the Holy Spirit which was poured out upon all the believers. Now we find Peter giving his sermon and in this we find the first words of the Promise which is given by God to all who will repent and believe upon Yeshua, Jesus Christ. A promise that is to all generations no matter how far off they may be from the original event we call Pentecost.

This has major repercussions to the day in which we live. For as believers living in the time of the end, our job is to give our testimony. It is to believe, testify of Jesus Christ, and to be ready at all costs to defend our Lord, our faith, and the purpose of the redemptive work on the cross.

The Acts of the Holy Spirit recorded in the book are commonly called the Acts of the Apostles. But we find the power and presence of God moving mightily in the Apostles and in the early believers that were in the church. The first martyr was not an Apostle, but Steven.

Act 2:36-40

36)  Let all the house of Israel therefore know assuredly, that God hath made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom ye crucified.

(37)  Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and the rest of the apostles, Brethren, what shall we do?

(38)  And Peter said unto them, Repent ye, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins; and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

(39)  For to you is the promise, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call unto him.

(40)  And with many other words he testified, and exhorted them, saying, Save yourselves from this crooked generation.

Whatever the old covenant lacked, through Christ Jesus; we received the fullness of Him unto redemption, salvation, and inheritance!

In part two of the Saints of God Walking in the Light we look at the fullness of Him! That’s right, his fullness, his power, his resurrection, and all that is available through this fullness. A fullness of divinity and that of His Father, as believers we are in that realm of expectation and glory. Here we find not only our Lord and His Father but in the midst of it all, peace and redemption. In addition we have healings, miracles, knowledge, wisdom, and much more. It is through our Lord who loved us first and gave himself for his that we have this gift. A gift which the Father gave, when he gave of his only begotten Son Jesus Christ.

East Wind Judgment demonstrates the judgment of the Lord. In Psalm 107 and verse twenty-five we find the Lord commands and brings up the stormy wind. In addition, Psalms 148:8 says “Fire and Hail; Snow, and Vapor; stormy wind fulfilling His word.” We all know of Matthew 8:27 where the Lord commanded the winds and sea and they obeyed him. In this section we find a delivered Judah and a battered Babylon hit by the same East wind of Judgment.
