Dunamis of Acts Classic Warn Radio series Parts 8-14

Fasting and Prayer was the connecting rod with the Holy Spirit actively moving among those gathered. There was no time to waste, the call was moving the group to reach the Roman empire for the Lord Jesus Christ and the gates of Hell would not stop them.

The Acts of the Holy Spirit recorded in the book are commonly called the Acts of the Apostles. But we find the power and presence of God moving mightily in the Apostles and in the early believers that were in the church. The first martyr was not an Apostle, but Steven.

There is a difference between blessing and cursing. In today’s society we classify a lot of stuff but never put it in the category of Gods judgment. Discounting the Lord overall agencies, Sabbaoth that is, here means he governs exclusively in spite of men and nations. There is no clearer message and example of this than Isaiah’s prophetic book. Stand up Jerusalem addresses a people that have been captive to their own rebellion and through Gods had of redemption are now out of their bonds. This week the freed captives are urged to Awaken, but in doing so they were to “Put on Strength.” A captive people cannot do much, let alone praise their God if they are so oppressed, they cannot Stand up and accept what God has done. His blessing returned, now the true captives who held the title as Gods elect and owned the title to the inheritance God gave them must stand, accept it, and proclaim it. You cannot live, let alone worship, and praise your God if you are freed physically but still held captive in your mind and spirit. God commands them to Stand up!

1Jn 1:1-9(1)  That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;(2)  (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)(3)  That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.(4)  And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.(5)  This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.(6)  If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:(7)  But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.(8)  If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.(9)  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
