Pastor Ken is continuing our "Unbreakable Love for Unlovable People" series with a look in Hosea 6:4-11. Judgment by God was coming for Israel because they turned their backs on Him and were disobedient. But His promise of Jesus' coming still rings true and we celebrate His goodness with the Lord's Supper.

This week, Pastor Matthew is diving into Hosea 5 to give us the "bad news" ... Israel has been indicted by God for neglecting worship and becoming a corrupt nation. God has withdrawn Himself from them because they dealt treacherously with Him. But there is good news to come in Hosea 6 - if they will acknowledge their offense and seek His face, He will come back to them. 

Join us as Pastor Ken continues our series "Unbreakable Love for Unlovable People" by looking at Hosea 4. God charges Israel with their sin and warns the people of Judah not to follow suit. We can take this warning as an application to prepare for Jesus' second coming! 

As we continue our series in Hosea, "Unbreakable Love for Unlovable People", Pastor Matthew is opening up Hosea 3 to discuss the comparisons between the Gospel, Hosea's love for Gomer, and God's love for Israel. The focus of the Gospel is God loving man - undeserving, unlovable, and exhausted sinners - and Hosea focuses on his love for Gomer who continually betrayed their marriage vows. It's a beautiful illustration of God's grace and mercy for us.

Join us this week in Hosea 2:2-23 as Pastor Ken teaches on Christ being "The Door of Hope." This is a story of a very unfaithful people, but a very faithful God. The Nation of Israel have turned their back on God and are in a season of spiritual adultery. God's judgment is certain, for he abhors sins; but God is faithful to His people and His love stands firm! 

Hosea 2:14 "Therefore, behold, I will allure her..."

God uses Hosea and Gomer to illustrate Israel turning their back on their first love, but ultimately redeeming them and bringing them back to Himself.

In the final message of our "Back to Basics" series, Pastor Ken opens up Psalm 133:1-3 to discuss the last piece of our foundation puzzle - Unity in the Church Body. "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!" Every single member of the Body is useful to serve one another and serve the Lord together.
