For the past (more than a) few Movie Months, I give my friend and co-host Chris one special wish. He gets to pick a movie for me to watch. Sometimes more than one - but always at least one.
This year, not only did he pick the movie - but he joined for the the podcast in what might be my first Movie Month with a co-host (forgive me if I am wrong - and forgive me even more if you were that co-host.)
Today, we discuss a 2011 movie about MMA. A movie about family. A movie with some incredible acting performances - one Oscar nominated!
A movie that doesn't deviate too far from going exactly where you'd expect it to go - but again it's those performances along the way that make Warrior a worthy movie to watch.
Chris, if you're reading this - you've earned the right to come back again next year and suggest another movie. Congratulations.
