Because she was good technically, she got promoted to become a supervisor. Unfortunately, her engineering education did not empower her with the tools to be effective with people. As a result, not long after her promotion she found herself fired. This experience inspired her to learn what separates the best from the rest when it comes to being effective within teams and organizations. Working hard to build a life as an entrepreneur with the normal struggles of a teenager, being homeless, and starting college at 16 led to an opportunity for her to work for a “Big 4” accounting firm at 20 years old. Consulting in Hollywood at 25, taking on foreign and domestic governments at 28, and her first Fortune 500 client in her 30s created a foundation for her journey today.
