In this episode; I sit down with 8x Elite Coach and Mama, Jessica Bowser Nelson. We unpack A LOT about motherhood and business and what she has done to build a million-dollar business in the health and wellness space. We talked about juggling a tough pregnancy and work while having a very public social media presence. She let us in on her early challenges and why she is so passionate about building an authentic business that represents her and the values. She taught us a trick about doing a mental inventory of truth when faced with a decision. She got honest with us and talked about how her desperation brought her to her transformation. 

Three biggest Gold nuggets:

1. If you are selling anything, you have to believe in it. Belief comes from being transformed with your outcome using the product or service. Maybe even being desperate enough to realize there are no other options and moving forward after taking, what she calls, “A Mental Inventory of Truth”. Where you look at all the areas that service or skill is growing you or transforming you and being willing to share with others that they can have it too. Jessica Believes selling should be an “I want to!” instead of “Do I have to?”

2. Authenticity comes from being honest about who you are and being willing to share those things with your world. To Jessica, the most valuable friendships and relationships have come from being ready to accept her "weird" and share it with others to find the connection. When coming up with content early on, she discovered that the things she resisted sharing ended up being the thing that connected her to her tribe the most.

3. Be on a constant journey of growth. Take the pressure off in anything you do, whether it's parenting or business. Allow yourself to improve little by little every day is where the transformation happens. The journey is in the daily improvements, no matter how small they are. Anyone can build a business with a mindset of growth whether they have thousands of followers or just a handful.
