Do you ever wonder what makes someone strong, courageous and brave? What about people who are aligned with their life's purpose? I have been asking myself and others these questions for a long time and I am noticing so many people are stepping forward into their genius with courage and clarity because of the extraordinary events of 2020. I have been seeking stories of Warriors in the Workplace who have Pivoted into Purpose throughout the month so that their stories inspire and encourage more Warriors to step into their greatness. My goal is to create a movement of thinkers and doers who are accessing, activating and elevating the greatest part of themselves As I reflected on that goal, I realized that bringing the Warrior Magic Brand to life is an example of Pivoting into Purpose and I am humbled to be able to bring this story to you. May this conversation help you to play with the edges of your life and bring forth your Warrior Magic to the world!

I am thrilled to bring to you a series of conversations highlighting Warriors At Work who pivoted into purpose and power because of the extraordinary circumstances of 2020.

Rory Hughes, Founder of BOOM did just that. A Dublin based theatre director and educator created an on line program that headlines the most influential and talented personalities in the global theatre community. From Phantom of the Opera to Mean Girls, BOOM has showcased a wide variety of leading actors, dancers and writers from Broadway to the West End. BOOM's membership offers dance, acting, writing and production in live video or pre-recorded classes that appeals to all of levels of theatre enthusiasts. Rory has created a powerful on line business model that serves as a vehicle of expression and education for both the teachers and students from the comfort of your home. BOOM has had great success since its' launch in April 2020 and continues to be an incredible source of expertise and education for all of its members. Whether it's live streaming a class through a dance studio or teaching lightning and production, BOOM is here to stay and will be a key ingredient in the evolution of the theatre world!

Just like you, I have a lot of questions about the state of the world and how we will move and grow through what feels like a constant stream of change.

As a professional with 30 years of working experience, I am being challenged at every turn but I have my experience and my network to lean on and I consider myself well suited for the wild ride. What about our recent college graduates, MBA students and young professionals who have been enthusiastically preparing for a robust job market and now find themselves looking at a very uncertain future? I have been sitting with this question the last few months and consider myself in a unique position to offer bridge between the business community and Generation Z.

We cannot leave this generation waiting in the wings for employment opportunities. We must do our part in the business community to provide a pathway for learning in the absence internships and job openings. We need to work through our business challenges and can keeping connections to learning open at the same so that this generation is ready when the employment landscape changes.

In this podcast and YouTube conversation, I am joined by my very talented, straight talking colleague Shirell Gross and we turn over the microphone to a powerful duo of recent college graduates for a raw, unedited conversation on everything from finding a job to defining career fails and triumphs.
