Cole Berschback is our guest on today's episode. She is co-founder of Total Potential. Cole is an author, Unbeatable Mind Coach, Registered Dietitian, and certified yoga instructor. She has spent the past 20 years working in health and wellness. Several formative events led her to a deep passion for families and the magic that unfolds when we see family as an opportunity, not an obstacle. She supports 1:1 and group coaching, breath and meditation work, and yoga and Pilates training. She lives in Wisconsin with her husband and three children.

Cole shares her background growing up in Minnesota and participating in competitive sports in high school. At a young age she became interested in health and wellness and ultimately became a Dietitian. Her focus for a number of years was to help families with children dealing with cystic fibrosis. Her counsel to them sometimes included dietary changes and even suggestions for a positive meal environment. Like any change sometimes the families would have to take baby steps to make the necessary but vital changes for improvement in the child and family dynamic. Dr. Linell King is our guest on the show today. He grew up in a small town in Alabama and ultimately pursued his medical education at Johns Hopkins University. He spent 15 years treating patients that were in and out of the hospital only to come back a year later with no improvement in their health. His recognition of how our health care system was failing the public lead him to pivot into functional and integrative medicine. That lead him to work with patients in a different realm and setting.

A renowned internist featured on ABC, NBC, and FOX, Dr. King received his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine, and completed his residency at Johns Hopkins University and Sinai Hospital. He now practices wellness and functional medicine in Southwest Florida at his “Naples Vitality” office, where he incorporates nutrition, hormone balance, fitness and permanent weight control.

His motivation to make this pivot was his dad and the experience he went through with his father. Our guest Mary Massey shares her story of the hard journey of leaving Peru and traveling through Mexico to get to America.
