The DC show has Hal and John in this buddy cop intergalactic crime thriller that seems to be an ode to True Detective, another crime thriller series on HBO. We discuss John’s wild beginnings and the 2 WTF scenes in the intro of the show. My destiny versus my ring. The dynamic between Hal and John. The diffference in how they weild the power of the ring. That shocking ending and so much more in this Pilot episode!

We’re continuing our “AI Will Be the End of Us All” series with Episode 219, Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die, and we brought in our brother Dave from Brickwall Review to join the discussion.

This is a film that flew under the radar at the beginning of 2026, but it certainly gives us a lot to talk about. Has social media made us more complacent as a society? Have we become so desensitized to gun violence and mass shootings that they no longer affect us the way they should? These are some of the heavier topics explored throughout this dark comedy, and we made sure to dig into all of them.

But even with the sensitive subject matter, we found plenty of room to talk about the lighter side of the film—including how much we all hate getting terrible results from terrible prompts. 😂

D23 has came and gone and Marvel has FINALLY released the latest Avengers Doomsday trailer , the Visionquest trailer , and they have announced a few more X-Men along with something , sinister. We discuss and break it all down along with a few theories and thoughts for this new and upcoming saga!

Who can you trust? We assume Ms Coretta, from the Talkin Ish A Podcast Amongst Friends, Joe and the team are back applying pressure to help keep the states safe. This episode kicks off with the high intensity shake down and we discuss how we would handle that situation . Is there a leak in the crew? Could it be Joe’s husband , Neal? Joe has to tell the family what’s what and the seriousness of what she’s doing in her job. The team partners with an unlikely partner to help smoke out all the enemies .

We’re one episode closer to the finale of My Adventures with Superman Season 3, and Jonathan is STILL a pain in all our big toes. 😭

It seems like he didn’t learn a thing from Episode 8, and those repercussions may come back to haunt our heroes in Episode 10. We still have a powerless Clark, but thankfully, he hasn’t lost his humanity, even when regaining his powers is on the line.

Meanwhile, Jimmy cooked Lex as he tried to make a swift exit, and it looks like Lois and Laura are finally starting to build that mother-daughter relationship.  There’s still A LOT to tie up before the finale, and we’re just hoping the season doesn’t leave us hanging on a disgusting cliffhanger. 👀

We called up our brother Austin and Lisa , from the ReelMovieLovers , to help us break this James Cameron’s film down. We discuss the first time we can recall seeing this film. The most iconic scene to use in this film. Chase scenes aren’t that memorable today , however this film had several we all agreed stand up today.
