I took Franziska Baumann's score and chose to read it left-to-right, top-to-bottom. However, I restricted myself to the first row of seven ideograms, mostly due to time constraints. I took each and transcribed the notes into Ableton and considered each to represent a bar. I then repeated the sequence six times with various instruments. I interpreted the smudges as harmonic distortion.

I pretty much broke the rules by not making a list, then braking more than one rule: I made a piece that I felt broke a lot of my usual patching "rules" on the modular; made then broke a rule about not adding effects in the DAW; then added reverb; then uploaded late…

Experimentation with Bitwig's FX Grid, processing a Harmony Bloom generated sequence with various randomisers, such as dice, sample and hold, and logical arithmetic based on several channels of source. The result was then further modified with Infiltrator 2, and Sampleson's Haptic Perc, and Xils-Lab La Palme.
