This a lot of negativity in our world and it is easy to focus on all the bad. In John 14 Jesus teaches us that there are much more important things to focus on and reminds us of all that is good. When we focus on the good, its life changing!

Once again, we study the prophet Agur and his writings in Proverbs 30 to learn how to be content in God. When it comes down to it, its all about relationship. If your relationship with God is good, then contentment is easy. If not, then we are always looking for things to fill our life to make us happy. Agur shows us what things to look at to get our relationship right with God, and what things to avoid.

Our Christmas Message for Advent. The world, the shepherds, the magi, the prophets, the angels all responded to the present of Jesus. The big question is……how do you and I respond to Jesus?

This week we learn from the Magi in Matthew 2 how to keep the true meaning of Christmas with us all the time. We learn how “not” to get caught up in the commercialism, the depression, or the lack luster feelings that so many people struggle with this time of year.
