The Washington Commanders have already made their big splash in the offseason by trading for quarterback Carson Wentz.  Today was the first day of the new league year.  Players can now officially sign their free agent contracts and trades become official

The boys from Ref The District look at who the Commanders signed such as Troy Apke, Tyler Larsen, Bobby McCain, Cam Sims and surprisingly, JD McKissic. The team lost several players to free agency and cap cuts.  All Pro guard Brandon Scherff signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars and steady backup defensive tackle Tim Settle signed with the Buffalo Bills. Matt Ioannidis and Ereck Flowers were surprisingly cut. Landon Collins was cut with a June 1st designation.
