Wassup Church

Wassup Church! Today we are revisiting the beef between Cain and Abel through my experiences as a younger brother, and how easily their story is still alive and well today. Are we offering a pleasing sacrifice to the Lord or are we allowing sin to overtake us.

Wassup Church! Today I want to talk about a weird statement made in Luke 23:12... "That very day Pilate and Herod became friends with each other, for previously they had been at enmity with each other." It just really struck me as such a strange and specific verse. So I went on a deep dive and was shocked about how much it relates to today.

Enjoy and God bless!

Sorry Everyone...somehow the audio got removed from the recording...so here is the updated episode with me actually talking.

Wassup Church! Today I get real honest and ask myself the question...Could I have been able to walk with Jesus? Will would like to think this would be a no-brainer, but when I really start reading the scriptures, really look at how Jesus talked, and what Jesus said to people...the question is much harder than I thought.

Enjoy and God bless!

Wassup Church! I am back and I am so sorry for the absence. I have been dealing with some stuff and that is what this episode is all about. How crazy is it that you can be on fire one moment and in a battle the next? To go from burning to lukewarm and not know how to pullout of it. Well, that is what happened to me and that is what this episode is all about!

Enjoy and God bless!

Wassup Church! What is up church!? Once again we are in John and I am rediscovering stories from the bible that I thought I knew. My goal is to get rid of the familiarity with some of the most famous moments in the bible and try to see them with fresh eyes. Well...the story of the blind man (Charlie) who gets his vision back in John 9 is that story. I can't wait to share my thoughts and how I am seeing this entire story with new eyes...just like Charlie.

Enjoy and God bless!

Wassup Church! What is up church!? Today we are talking about a classic story, but with a new focal point. We are all familiar with Lazarus being raised from the dead, but I was just reading it with new eyes and I was drawn to Martha and her experience in the story. I just really identified with both Martha and Mary in this story, but really identified with Martha and her approach to her faith.

Enjoy and God bless!

Wassup Church! Welcome to the third and final part of the Once Saved Always Saved discussion. In this part we are discussing how this belief systems impacts our daily lives. We go into inheritance and predestination and how this belief impacts each

Also…the coolest part about this is setting down with Author, Evangelist, and my Father-In-Law, George Elias. His ministry Let None Be Lost (www.letnonebelost.com) is out of San Diego, and helps local churches train their leaders in evangelism so they can reach their communities. He does this and so much more and it was a complete pleasure sitting down with Him for this.

Wassup Church! We are continuing our conversation of Once Saved Always Saved. In this discussion we really wanted to dive into scripture. We take a hard look at some of the dominant scriptures both for and against this belief, and how they can either be right or wrong. We let scripture interpret scripture here, but we obviously do our best to explain our positioning with each.

Wassup Church! This episode is going to get meaty! Well…the next three episodes to be exact. We are going in on the belief/concept/idea/theology of “Once Saved, Always Saved”. Let me start with the disclaimer in saying that this discussion isn’t meant to criticize or condemn anyone…but it is meant to provoke thought, and hopefully that thought will inspire you to do your own homework on this issue. Theologians and students of the Word have been debating this topic since Calvin introduced it. My hope is that you enjoy this, and it inspires you to truly know where you stand with your Creator!

Wassup Church! What is up church!? Today we are talking about James (Jesus's brother) and John (the Beloved) and how they both use works as evidence of the Holy Spirit. I talk about my Smooth Stone #5...

John 15:5 - I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.

I talk about a hitchhiker, learning how to see people how God see's them, and trying to be better at small talk.

God bless and enjoy!
